neuromatch® is rooted in the universal-design principles pioneered for the neurodivergent community — then applied to hiring for every company and every job seeker, neurodiverse and neurotypical alike. The result is an AI-native platform for authentic work connections — not just for some, but for all.

Our Vision
We leverage AI not to filter people out, but to surface the authentic signal beneath the résumé — elevating human potential and building meaningful work connections between employers and talent, neurodiverse and neurotypical alike.
The Caption Test
In 2009, a deaf engineer at Google spent years lobbying his own employer to build automatic captions into YouTube. Seventeen years later, roughly four in five people using those captions can hear perfectly well — watching in a waiting room, commuting, parsing an accent, learning a language. Captions didn't spread because the mandate expanded. They spread because a tool built for precision at the margin turned out to be better for the middle, too.

This is the curb-cut effect. Sidewalk ramps were required for wheelchair users; they now carry strollers, luggage, dollies, and delivery carts.

Built for a hypothetical median candidate, then retrofitted with accommodations at the end — a separate door, a special request, a disclosure the candidate has to weigh the cost of making.
We design for how neurodivergent candidates actually experience hiring — ambiguous instructions, unstructured interviews, invisible criteria. The same design serves every candidate and every hiring manager. The person who never discloses anything still gets a better process — the way the hearing viewer gets captions.
Universal Design isn't accommodation scaled up.
It's a discipline that produces better products by refusing to treat the margin as an afterthought. Harrenstien built what he needed. Everyone else got it too. That's neuromatch® — built for the neurodivergent experience, better for every future worker and company.
Our Founders
neuromatch® wasn't founded by outside observers. Every one of our founders is personally connected to neurodiversity, and that lived connection is the thread running through everything we build.
Some of us are parents to children with special needs, raising neurodivergent kids and fighting every day for a world that sees their strengths.
Some of us identify as neurodivergent ourselves — living the experience of navigating hiring systems never built for the way our minds work.
Some of us have spent our careers working with the neurodivergent population — as researchers, advocates, and program builders.

Autism at Work Pioneer
In the spotlight
Jose is a pioneer of the Autism at Work program — a nationally recognized initiative adopted by the country's leading brands to recruit, support, and retain neurodivergent talent in the enterprise.
His commitment is lifelong, and it spans both worlds: advancing neurodiversity in the workplace as a movement, and living it at home through his own family. That dual perspective is what makes Jose's voice so essential to neuromatch® — he has built the programs and lived the experience behind them.
The thread that binds us.
Across every founder, the commitment is the same: to build a hiring platform that champions the fundamental human qualities that make work meaningful and productive — using AI to lift up humanity and to foster real human interaction and connection, never to replace it. And critically, to temper that AI with verified, validated, and authentic work and job posting profiles, so the signal employers and job seekers rely on is always real.
Our Journey
Phase 01 · The Spark
The Spark
A lived connection to neurodiversity reveals a hard truth: the people hiring overlooks are often the people organizations most need. Talent is being lost not to ability, but to a system that measures the wrong things.
What we stand for
Universal Design
Accessibility isn't an add-on — it's the architecture. neuromatch®is designed around universal-design principles so that neurodiverse and neurotypical job seekers are served equally, and so the strengths of both are surfaced with the same rigor and respect.
AI-Native
We're AI-native by design — not AI bolted onto an old résumé database. Our models cut through AI-generated application noise to verify real human signal: strengths, motivators, environment fit, and verified experience that actually predicts performance and retention.
Authentic Connections
The end goal isn't a placement — it's a connection that lasts. We help employers build authentic work relationships with people whose strengths align to the role, reducing bad hires and turnover, and giving talent a place to genuinely thrive.
Whether you're hiring for authentic connection or seeking a place to thrive, neuromatch® is built for you.
